SheepIT takes the protection of your data seriously. This page describes, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French "Informatique et Libertés" Act, the processing carried out from this site.

Browsing and local storage

The site sets no cookie. It uses no advertising tracker. The game keeps your preferences and your latest scores locally, in your browser.

Audience measurement

We use Umami, hosted on Railway, to measure visits and interactions with the site, without cookies. We count successful contact form submissions and clicks on our email address. These events do not send the form contents or your contact details to Umami.

Data processed when you write to us

• Your email address and, where applicable, your name and your organisation;
• the content of your message and of the exchanges that follow.

Game leaderboard

If you choose to save your score, the name or nickname you enter, the score and the date of the entry are kept in order to display the public leaderboard. Our host also receives your IP address in its technical logs. Do not use your real name if you do not wish to be identifiable.

Purpose and legal basis

Contact details are used to answer your request and to prepare a possible collaboration. The leaderboard exists to offer a shared, playful feature. This processing rests on your own initiative and on SheepIT's legitimate interest.

Recipients

Your messages are accessible to the three members of the collective and to our email provider. Leaderboard data is hosted by Netlify and Neon. The names or nicknames and scores in the top 10 are public. No data is transferred or sold.

Retention period

Exchanges are deleted at the latest three years after the last contact that went no further. Scores are kept for one year at most, unless you ask for earlier deletion.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise it, write to contact@sheepit.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr (new tab)).
